INFORMATION AND CAREEER COUNCELLING CELL

The college has a Career and Counseling Cell established under the UGC XIth Plan. The Cell supports the students in the development of soft skills and communication ability to challenge the rigours of competitive exams. From time to time resource persons from academics, business and allied field are invited to have interaction with students. Seminars and workshops on the importance of commerce and management education have been organized. Remedial/tutorial classes are conducted on the demand of the students. At the beginning of every session, students are given career guidance as well as personnel counseling.

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

The College has a Special Women Grievances Cell to address female students’ problems related with gender issues and others.

STUDENTS UNION

The college has a Student’s Union of elected secretaries, whose purpose is to promote the social, literary and cultural objectives and aspirations of the students. Principal of the college is the President and the Secretaries are guided by the Vice-President of the Students Union and faculty in charge for all the portfolios.

GREEN CLUB

The college has a Green Club which regularly organises environmental protection activities like tree plantation and cleanliness programme within the campus as well as in the neighbouring localities.

CAREER GUIDANCE CELL

Career Guidance Cell of the college conduct personal counseling for better results in the examinations, more regular attendance, increase participation in co curricular activities, better discipline on campus and respectful relationship between teachers and students.
